Surprise! I forgot something again!

When I read this recipe, I was surprised to see a pot roast that had pasta instead of potatoes and green beens instead of celery. I wasn't surprised that I had to go to Safeway to get the wagon wheel pasta because the other store didn't carry it.

"Chuck Wagon Pot Roast" (6 quart pot)

~2 lbs beef chuck roast
~salt and pepper
~1 24oz jar pasta sauce
~1 c water
~2 cups mini wagon wheel pasta
~1 c baby carrots, halved diagonally
~1 c frozen cut green beans

Season beef with salt and pepper.
Place beef in greased crock pot.
Add sauce and water to crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Add pasta, carrots, and beans and stir into liquid.
Increase to high and cook for 45 more minutes.

8 servings.
Yeah, so, there was SUPPOSED to be green beans in this, but I didn't remember that until 4 hours after we'd finished eating dinner. Luckily, it was still yummy without them. I'd definitely make this again and next time, I might actually remember the green beans.
