Back to shortcuts as usual.

This sounded awesome to me. Crocked pork. Green sauce. Win, win.

"Braised Pork With Salsa" (6 quart pot)

The original is HERE.

~4 pounds pork shoulder (I used bone-in because I spotted some in Safeway's clearance section and it was too cheap to NOT buy.)
~1 1/2 c green salsa
~1 3/4 c chicken broth
~1 onion, chopped
~1 t cumin seeds
~3 plum tomatoes, quartered
~1/2 c chopped fresh cilantro
~1/2 c reduced-fat sour cream

Add pork to crock pot.
Turn on crock pot to HIGH while...
In saucepan, add salsa, broth, onion, and cumin seed.
Bring to boil.
Pour mixture over pork.
Dump tomatoes on top.
Turn crock pot to low.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
Discard bones.
Top with sour cream and cilantro.

6 servings.
I wasn't willing/able to do the last few steps in the original recipe, so I just kinda skipped them. It didn't matter. Pork and green sauce is fabulous.
