We had some special guests over for dinner tonight (Hi Brad and Sandra!). They made plans to thieve a bunch of Brad's stuff, were impressed by my cleaning out the pantry skills, and then ate today's turkey honey mustard thingamajig.
What fun things are in Brad's pantry? Day 21.
~1.5 lb turkey tenderloin
~1/2 of a 16 oz bottle of Newman's Lite Honey Mustard salad dressing (I THINK this was ours. It expires in 16 days.)
~1/2 c dijon mustard (the remnants of a bottle that expired in 2011)
~1 (32 oz bag) frozen stir fry veggies (I think this was ours.)
~rice, cooked (The end of what was left in the unmarked container.)
Add turkey to crock pot.
Pour dressing and mustard on top of turkey.
Dump veggies on top of everything.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Serve with rice.
4 servings.
Mustard fans will want to make this. It's mustard-tastic. We gobbled it all up. (Get it? Gobble. Turkey. I'm hilarious and you know it.) Those who aren't fans of mustard probably didn't read past the title...(but they think I'm hilarious, too.)
