Home sweet home.

I was going to crock yesterday so we could do fun things like celebrate our first night in our new house with a home-crocked meal. Unfortunately, the house was without 2/3 of the things you need to crock (electricity AND food) for most of the day, so I had to postpone our housewarming dinner.

This is a modified version of the recipe I spotted on the back of an old mustard bottle I found in Brad's pantry. I'd planned on crocking this before we moved, but I ran out of crockable days.

"Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs" Pork Loin (6 quart pot)

~2 lb pork loin (The recipe says 4lb ribs.)
~1 (17.5 oz) bottle Bull's Eye Texas style BBQ sauce (I bought this.)
~1/2 c French's spicy brown mustard (It expired in July.)
~1 (16 oz) bag) Asian-Style veggies, frozen (I bought this. Veggies were not a part of the original rib recipe...obviously.)

Add pork to crock pot.
Pour bbq sauce and mustard on top.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
Add veggies and stir into sauce mixture.
Cover and cook for 30 minutes.
Cut pork into chunks and serve with veggie mixture.

4 servings.
Mmm... A delicious way to start the crocking adventures in our new place, me thinks.
