Sarah picked number 2. (Thanks Sarah!) number 2 was...
"Spicy French Dip" (6 quart pot)
~3lb beef sirloin tip roast, cut in half
~1/2 c water
~4 jalapeƱo peppers, cored and diced (The card said 4oz can, but I used fresh.)
~1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
~crusty rolls (5")
Place beef in crock pot.
In a small bowl, combine water, jalapeƱos, and dressing mix; pour over beef.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until meat is tender.
Skim fat from cooking juices.
Serve beef on buns with juice.
12 servings.
This was okay. It wasn't the greatest French dip, but it wasn't terrible either. I'm not a fan of soggy bread, so I didn't love dipping it in the juices like my other half did. He LOVED it. So...maybe I'm just not a huge fan of French dip?
