Since you've been gone.

There's a little more to it, but I blinked and October it was over. Halloween happened. Friends stayed with us for a week. We went out to eat a lot. I used my oven a lot. (GASP!) And I crocked...sometimes. Some recrocks. Some not. Someday, I'l find the time to post new crock recipes. A pumpkin pineapple chili. A pumpkin dip. A pork roast. A salsa chicken. Today is NOT that day. I'm trying to get back into the groove, but I'm feeling a little overwhelmed.

This is what I crocked today.

"Cranberry Pork" (6 quart pot) The original recipe is HERE.

~3 lb pork loin
~1 (15 oz) can whole cranberry sauce
~1/3 c French dressing
~1 onion, sliced

Place pork in crock pot.
Mix cranberry sauce, dressing, and onion on a medium bowl.
Pour mixture over pork.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

I served this with steamed kohlrabi sprinkled with cheddar.

8 servings.
This was pretty good. It gets points because my little helper actually agreed to try more than one bite.
