I finally got around to doing an ACTUAL grocery shopping trip. I crocked this yesterday.
"Hawaiian Luau" (6 quart pot)
~3lb boneless pork roast
~1 envelope Campbell's Slow Cooker Hawaiian Luau
~1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
~brown rice, cooked
Put pork in crock pot.
Pour sauce on top.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
At hour 7, add peppers.
Recover and cook for the last hour.
I served it with sautéed asparagus.
6 servings.
This was pretty good. The cut of meat I bought was fattier than I'd anticipated, but the flavor was there. It's a little sweet, but not overly. My little helper tried it, but his dinner was pretty much rice. At least it was brown rice?
