Everything must go!

When I was little, it seemed like we rarely spent a weekend between spring and fall at home. Mostly, it was because we went to the shore. Other times, it was the mountains. Just before we left town, my mom would go through the fridge and "make" us eat whatever was going to go bad. We inhaled milk. We scarfed down leftovers. Everything must go!

I am my mother's daughter.

We're heading home for Easter and making a long weekend out of it, so I decided to do what my mom would do, but do it a la crock pot.

"Everything must go!" (3.5 quart pot)

~2 frozen chicken breasts
~1/2 c Trader Ming's General Tsao Stir Fry Sauce (By Trader Joe's) (This was all we had left.)
~1/4 c Kikkoman's Sweet and Sour Sauce (Again, all we had left.)
~1 c celery, chopped
~1 red bell pepper, chopped
~1 green bell pepper, chopped

Mix all ingredients in greased crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 12 hours.

2 servings.
It's kind of a shame this made only 2 servings. It was sweet, sour, spicy, tangy and really good. There wasn't even enough to have seconds. Dessert is going to be the last piece of applesauce cake and some White Russians to use up the remaining milk. Yum.

Sadly, going out of town also means I won't be back to crocking until Monday. Try not to be too upset. I promise I'll be back.
