Crocking a la Betty White.

Betty White is full of awesome. This is her wings recipe. I converted it to the crock pot. This meant shoving everything together and then broiling them after. I based the cooking times on the wing recipe I did a few weeks ago.

"Betty White's Chicken Wings" (6 quart pot)

~3 lbs frozen chicken wings
~1/2 c butter, melted
~1 c soy sauce
~1 c brown sugar
~3/4 c water
~1/2 t dry mustard
~3/4 t garlic powder (It said it was optional. I used it. Shocker, right?)

Add all ingredients to crock pot.
Mix well.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
Remove with a slotted spoon and place on cookie sheet.
Broil for 3 minutes.

6 servings.
They're sweet. They're salty. They're full of awesome. Just like Betty White.

"Celebrity Week" is now complete. Perhaps during this holiday weekend, I'll find a minute or two to figure out what's crocking next week and get the makings for that. Cross your fingers.
