I'm still in clean out the pantry and refrigerator mode and there's no real theme for the week. I can tell you that no recipes will be followed. It's another one of THOSE weeks: A continuation of "Wing It Week", perhaps. Friday's wings were the last of the meat in the freezer, so I hit Safeway over the weekend to get inspired. Luckily for me, their meat department had stocked their clearance section about 30 seconds before I walked in the door. I had the pick of the litter and it was pretty much the awesome-ist thing ever in my happy little crockerland.
"Korean BBQ Short Ribs" (6 quart pot)
~Package of Safeway Select Korean Barbecue Short Ribs (I think it was about one pound, but the label was smudged, so I have no idea.)
~1 c beef broth
~cooked rice
Place meat in greased crock pot.
Add broth.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Serve over rice.
4 servings
This was delicious. Unfortunately, the nutritional information was NOT smudged. There's a reason this was so yummy.
