Fall over.

I'd planned on making this last week, but I ran out of crockable days and had to postpone it.

"Autumn Pork Chops" (6 quart pot)

~6 pork chops
~2 acorn squash, unpeeled and cut into slices/chunks
~3/4 t salt
~2 T butter, melted
~3/4 c brown sugar
~1 T orange juice
~1/2 t grated orange peel
~1/8 t ground cloves

Place pork chops in greased crock pot.
Add squash.
Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
Taste mixture just to make sure it's awesome.
Pour mixture on top of squash.
Cover and cook on low for 5 hours.

6 servings.

This was really good. My other half thinks it could have used a little more brown sugar which amused me because I was forced to use slightly less than the 3/4 cup of it the recipe called for. SOMEONE forgot to check the pantry last week. Oops.
