Orange-cha glad I sometimes crock on the weekends?

I found so many orangey recipes AND (more importantly) remembered to buy ingredients for said recipes, that I had one last recipe to crock this week. So that's exactly what I did.

"Orange Chicken and Sweet Potatoes" (6 quart pot)

~2 sweet potatoes (Mine looked steroidal. If yours don't, you might opt to use 3.)
~3 chicken breasts
~2/3 c flour
~1 t salt
~1 t nutmeg
~1/2 t cinnamon
~dash pepper
~dash garlic powder
~1 (14 oz can) cream of chicken soup
~4 oz can mushrooms
~1/2 c oj
~1 t orange rind
~2 t brown sugar
~3 T flour

Place potatoes in crock
Rinse chicken and pat dry.
Combine flour, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper, and garlic powder in small bowl.
Coat chicken with flour mixture.
Place on top of sweet potatoes.
Combine soup with remaining ingredients.
Stir well and pour over chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 9 hours.

3 servings.
This was really yummy. The chicken was perfectly tender and flaky a la rotisserie chicken and the potatoes were so soft and oh so flavorful. Mmm. The recipe suggested serving this over rice, but I kinda forgot to do that. We thought it was perfectly fine without it.

P.S. Remember to VOTE for me today!
