This has green sauce in it, so I pretty much had to make it. It's in the rules. I'm sure of it.
"Salsa Verde Chicken" (6 quart pot)
The original is HERE.
~5 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
~1 large onion, quartered and sliced
~1 medium green pepper, sliced
~16 oz jar of salsa verde (I used Frontera's Tomatillo Salsa.)
~2 t dried oregano
~1 T chili powder
~2 t ground cumin
~1/2 t salt
~1/4 c ketchup
Place onion and pepper in crock pot.
Top with chicken.
Sprinkle chili and oregano over chicken.
Add salsa verde.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Add ketchup and salt to slow cooker. (I forgot the part that said to take out the chicken first. Oops.)
Cook on high for 15 minutes.
5 servings.
I'm sorry. Did you say something? I couldn't hear you over our "Mmms".
