Feed the homeless.

We sold our house, yes. BUT the sellers of the house we have our eyes on can't settle until mid-October. (Boo!) We're crashing at our friend Brad's condo until then (because he's awesome like that)  and he's moved in with his girlfriend (because Sandra's/they're awesome like that.) Brad told me to crock the heck out of whatever he left in his kitchen. (I may be paraphrasing.) This morning, I unpacked my crock pot and took inventory of everything that he left behind. Between all of the stuff we brought with us and all of the stuff he didn't take with him, there's ALOT of inventory. I made a dent in it this this morning. A teeny tiny dent.

So...Day 1 of "What fun things are in Brad's pantry?"

~1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
~2 c frozen corn
~1 (24 oz) can crushed tomatoes
~1 baking chocolate square
~1 T sriracha hot chili sauce
~8 oz elbow macaroni, cooked

Add all ingredients except macaroni to crock pot and mix well.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
Stir to make sure the chocolate is mixed in.
Add macaroni and mix well.

4 servings.
This was super tasty. My other half thought it could use "something" (more sriracha, maybe?), but I thought it was delicious as is. It had a little kick, but nothing too crazy.

P.S. Hey Brad: We dig your bowls. They might accidentally find themselves in a box in the trunk of my car.
