I crocked this TODAY. Look! I caught up! That wasn't so bad, was it?
What fun things are in Brad's pantry? Day 8.
~1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
~2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped
~1/4 c habaƱero jelly
~1 (4 oz) jar pimientos, drained
~8 oz frozen okra, chopped (This was ours.)
~ramen, cooked (It was beef flavored, but I didn't use the packets.)
4 servings
Add beef, peppers, jelly, pimientos, and okra to crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
Serve over ramen.
I had no idea what I was doing when I whipped this together. I was pretty confident that tonight was going to end up being a wing night. On a related note: Is it weird that I've never had ramen before?
This was surprisingly awesome. Sweet. Spicy. Ramen-y. Yum. If I thought you could find the jelly somewhere, I'd say something like "Go Make This Now!", but I don't know if it's an actual thing(Brad and Sandra canned it themselves.), so...
Now that I'm all caught up, I'm leaving again. We're going on vacation! AND I'm not crocking AT ALL. It's our first vacation in 2 1/2 years, so I'm going to let a whole bunch of people in Jersey feed me. K? K. I shall return in about a week with even more random crocks!
