This was from a couple of days ago. I'm trying to play catch up. (When I'm not being OCD about work.)
What fun things are in Brad's pantry? Day 6.
~beef chuck roast (Part of the aforementioned 1/8 of a cow. The bag didn't say how big the roast was, but it was probably 3lbs after being de-boned and de-fatted.)
~1/4 c bacon pieces
~1 (12 oz) bottle Lawry's steak and chop 30 minute marinade (That expired in May 2009.)
~small mason jar of beef stock
~3 baking potatoes, cut into bite-sides pieces (This was the only ingredient that was ours.)
~1 (14.5 oz) can of french cut green beans (No expiration date. Stone age, maybe?)
Add beef, bacon, marinade, beef stock, and potatoes to crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Serve with green beans.
4 servings.
This was REALLY good. I'm trying to convince myself that the bacon made the meal. Just...because.
Amusingly, Brad's condo currently has as many crock pots inhabiting it as it does plush talking bacons. The fact that this number is more than 2 is all kinds of awesome.
