Winging it.

I can only take seeing wing sauce staring at me from a refrigerator door begging to be crocked for so long. I decided to celebrate the fact that nothing I've crocked so far has been deemed inedible by having a wing night.

What fun things are in Brad's pantry. Day 14.

~3 lbs frozen chicken wings (I bought these.)
~10 oz (of a 12 oz bottle) Clipper City Brewing Co. Wing Sauce (I saw no expiration date, but after about 30 seconds of research (and finding  THIS- and THIS) I THINK it's safe to say that it's at least from 2010.)
~3/4 stick of butter, melted (The stick looked like it was older than Moses.)
~1/4 c plain breadcrumbs (Not expired yet.)
~Frank's red hot sauce (optional)

Add chicken, butter, and wing sauce to crock pot and mix well.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
Using tongs, remove wings from crock and place on a cookie sheet.
Sprinkle wings with breadcrumbs
Broil on high for 5 minutes.

4 servings.
These had a really nice mild flavor, but didn't have the buffalo flavor I'd been craving. I dipped some of mine in Frank's for funzies.
