Take me out.

Today was a special day and I don't mean that in the "It's my birthday!" kind of special way. (It's not actually my birthday...yet.) More like the "Holy crap, I forgot to shove random stuff in the pot this morning!" kind of special. We were about to cave and decide to order take-out, but the "we're trying to save money" brain clicked and I quickly put something together and crocked it on high instead of low like I usually do.

What fun things are in brad's pantry? Day 24.

~2 chicken breasts, partially frozen (I bought these.)
~1 (16 oz) can frozen limeade (Hadn't expired yet.)
~1/4 c pineapple chunks (I bought these.)
~16 oz baby carrots (These, too.)
~2 chipotle peppers in adobo (Not expired, either.)

Add all ingredients to crock pot.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours.

2 servings.
This didn't turn out anything like I thought it was going to, but I still thought it was good. I was hoping the pepper would help balance the sweetness, but that didn't really happen. I'm thinking dicing the pepper would've helped with that. My other half thought the lime flavored carrots were a little weird, but liked the chicken. In the end, we were glad we didn't waste money and order take-out, so even though this wasn't one of our favorites, it's still going in the win pile.
