The plan.

It's possible that it's just still packed in boxes, but it certainly feels like we have NO food in this house. At all. My goal is to have my kitchen unpacked and making sense in the next 2 weeks.

"Isabella's CSA Pot Roast" (6 quart pot)

~2 lb chuck roast
~2 roma tomatoes, quartered (I bought these to slice for the hoagies we fed the friends who helped us move. Nobody touched them.)
~1 apple, chopped (From the CSA. I don't remember what kind of apple it was, unfortunately. It was red/yellow and bigger than the fuji ones they gave me. Super helpful as always, yes?)
~1 small butternut squash, peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces (Also from the CSA.)
~3/4 c orange juice
~3/4 c red wine vinegar

Add roast to crock pot.
Arrange veggies around it.
Pour oj and vinegar over everything.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

4 servings.
This was yummy. I'm giving myself a pat on the back for this one. Mmm...The tomatoes sucked up the oj and were super awesome.

I was Isabella's first visitor today! She's makes my ovaries tingle and I'm pretty sure Tricia deserves a medal. I'm all out of medals, so she's getting a home-crocked meal instead. Stay tuned for that!
