Around to it.

Where have I been, you ask?

My other half is on a 2 week long business trip far, far, FAR away. I would've been crocking for myself (and my little helper) these last few days, but Hurricane Sandy made her way through Maryland on Monday. Yesterday was my first day back to crocking post Sandy. AND it was Halloween, so I wanted dinner to be something that wasn't covered in chocolate.

"Isabella & Sandy's CSA Hurricane Halloween Chicken" (6 quart pot)

~2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
~1 head of broccoli, cut into pieces (From the CSA.)
~1 c white cooking wine
~2 T soy sauce
~2 T Worcestershire sauce
~1 garlic clove, chopped
~1 t Caribbean jerk seasoning

Add chicken to crock pot.
Dump broccoli on top.
Pour wine, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce on top.
Add garlic.
Sprinkle seasoning over everything.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Get so wrapped up in Halloween that you forget to eat dinner until 3 hours on "keep warm" has passed.

2 servings.
This was pretty good. The chicken was a smidge dry, but the flavor of everything was pretty awesome. It'd probably be better if I actually ate it on time.
