Brad and Sandra cashed in their rain check and joined us for dinner Friday. This is what I whipped together:
"Sausage Stewy Chili" (6 quart pot.)
~16 oz zesty pork sausage, browned and drained
~1 (15 oz) can dark red kidney beans
~1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes with basil and garlic
~5 small white potatoes, quartered (The last of the taters from the CSA. Woot!)
~1 onion, chopped (From the CSA.)
~1 t chili powder
~1 t curry powder
Add all ingredients to crock pot and mix.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
6 servings.
This was really good. And really easy. Even my little helper was a major fan, so it gets bonus points for that.
