You've got a friend in me.

Born to Crock would not be here without my friends. Seriously. You even helped with the conception. You all rock. A few of you like to tag me in Facebook posts about anything crock related. Others, e-mail me links to recipes. One of you likes to send me links to HIGHlarious youtube videos. You are all awesome.

Now that my kitchen is "clean", I'm going to go through the pile of bookmarks and crock a bunch of stuff that you, my friends, have sent me. Because, really, that's what this whole blogging business I have going on is really about. Right? Right.

"Chicken Teriyaki" (6 quart pot)

~1 lb chicken, diced (I used a Christina Hendricks-sized boob.)
~1 c low-sodium chicken broth
~1/2 c low-sodium teriyaki sauce
~1/3 c brown sugar
~3 garlic cloves, minced

Combine chicken broth, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, and garlic cloves in a large bowl.
Add chicken to sauce and toss to combine.
Pour chicken mixture into crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.* (I did 6.)
Serve over hot cooked rice and spoon extra sauce, if desired.

(I served this with a side salad from the CSA.)

4 servings.
This had a nice flavor, but 6 hours was WAY too long for my 6 quart pot. My little helper dug it, so I'm kind of wishing it made more!
