I decided to use what we have in the house before sitting down and making the next shopping list. Yesterday was going to be pork based, but our dishwasher broke and ruined everything. (I'll spare you the icky details. You're welcome.) So...today was chicken day. Chicken and a bunch of other stuff.
"Clean Out The Kitchen Chicken Stew" (6 quart pot)
~3 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
~1 c carrots, chopped
~3 medium white potatoes, chopped (From the CSA.)
~1 zucchini, chopped (From the CSA.)
~1 green bell pepper, chopped (From the CSA.)
~1 envelope onion soup mix
Add all ingredients to crock pot and mix well.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
4 servings.
This was okay. It's not going to win any awards, but it was still pretty good. It gets MAJOR bonus points because my little helper actually ate it!
