I crocked wings today. Because...why not?
"Sweet and Sour Chicken Wings" (6 quart pot)
~16 chicken wings
~1 chicken bouillon cube
~1 1/2 c sugar
~1/2 t salt
~1 c cider vinegar
~1/2 c ketchup
~2 T soy sauce
~1/2 c cornstarch
~1/2 c cold water
In a pan, mix bouillon cube, sugar, salt, vinegar, ketchup, and soy sauce.
Bring mixture to boil.
Over medium heat, cook until sugar and bouillon cube is dissolved.
Remove from heat.
Place chicken in crock pot.
Pour sauce on top.
Cover and cook on high for 3 1/2 hours.
In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water.
Stir into crock pot liquid and simmer until sauce thickens.
4 servings.
Mmm. These were really good. Aptly named. Nom.
