I'm running out of ingredients. I HAVE to go shopping. ASAP.
"Pork Chops Slathered In Mushrooms" (6 quart pot)
~4 pork chops (mine had bones)
~1 (14 oz) can cream of mushroom soup (Picked up from Freecycle.)
~8 oz fresh mushrooms
~1/2 c chicken broth
~broccoli cheese flavored rice and vermicelli, cooked (Also from Freecycle.)
Add pork to crock pot.
Mix soup, mushrooms, and broth in a medium bowl.
Pour mixture over pork.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
Serve over rice and vermicelli.
4 servings.
This was good. The pre-teen me would be disgusted by the mushrooms. The 30s me's goal is to stop using cream of something soups and random rice-a-roni packages just as soon as the pantry is free of them.
