"Chicken Makhani" (6 quart pot)
~2 chicken breasts
~2 shallots, minced
~2 garlic cloves, minced
~2 T lemon juice
~2 t garam masala
~1 t cumin
~1/2 t cayenne
~1/2 t ground cloves
~1/2 t pepper
~1/4 t salt
~1 T butter
~1 T tomato paste
~rice, cooked
Place chicken, shallots, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, the spices, butter, and tomato paste into crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 5 hours.
Serve over rice.
Polish it off and kick yourself for forgetting to add the yogurt before serving.
4 servings.
This was really, really good. It has an amazing flavor and a nice kick to it, but it was missing something.
Darn it.
