Don't forget to write!

Remember the recipe I made yesterday? I made that. Again. Only I actually added the yogurt today. Success!

"Chicken Makhani" (6 quart pot)

~4 chicken breasts (I doubled them so we'd have leftovers.)
~2 shallots, minced
~2 garlic cloves, minced
~2 T lemon juice
~2 t garam masala
~1 t cumin
~1/2 t cayenne
~1/2 t ground cloves
~1/2 t pepper
~1/4 t salt
~1 T butter
~1 T tomato paste
~6 oz plain greek yogurt
~rice, cooked

Place chicken, shallots, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, the spices, butter, and tomato paste into crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 5 hours.
Add yogurt to crock pot and mix.
Cut/shred chicken with fork.
Serve over rice.
High five yourself for remembering the yogurt this time.

8 servings.
This may surprise you, but  things taste so much better when you don't forget one of the main ingredients!
