It's "Make Someday week". This week, I'm crocking dinners that I'm sick of seeing on my make someday list.
"Pork Chops and Mushrooms" (6 quart pot)
~5 boneless pork chops
~1 (4 oz) can mushroom pieces
~2 onions, sliced
~1 (14 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
~1 envelope onion soup mix
~1/2 c water
~1/2 granny smith apple (I would've put the whole thing in, but I decided to share the other half with my little helper at snack time.)
~4 baby red potatoes
Place pork chops in greased crock pot.
Top with mushrooms and onions.
Mix soup, soup mix, and water in small bowl.
Pour mixture over mushrooms and onions.
Place apples on top.
Place potatoes on top.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Remove potatoes and mash with a fork.
Serve with the remaining pork crock pot mixture.
5 servings.
The apples and potatoes weren't in the original recipe, but they were delicious additions. Yum.
