Sandie picked number 15. The fifteenth card in the stack was...
"No More 'Chili' Nights" -AKA the most ridiculously named recipe in the stack- (6 quart pot)
~1 lb ground beef (Thanks for some of your cow, Sandra!)
~1 onion, chopped
~2 (15 1/2 oz) cans red kidney beans, drained
~1 (29 oz) can tomato sauce
~1 (14 1/2 oz) can diced tomatoes with chipotle chilies, undrained (the recipe called for celery, onion, and garlic tomatoes, but they don't exist so I grabbed a random can.)
~1 (14 1/2 oz) can diced tomatoes -sweet onion blend, undrained
~1 (14 1/2 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
~1 (14 1/2 oz) can water
~1/2 green bell pepper, cored, seeded, and chopped
~3 T chili powder
~2 T sugar
~2 cloves garlic, minced
~1 t Worcestershire sauce
~1 t black pepper
~1 t ground cumin
~shredded cheddar
Brown ground beef and onion in large skillet over medium-high heat.
Drain and discard fat.
Transfer meat to crock pot.
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir well.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
6 servings.
This stack of cards has A LOT of chili recipes in it. I may have to go on a chili vacation when this game is over. Tonight's ridiculously named chili was really good. This was the tomato-y-est chili I've ever had and was also on the liquid-y-ier side of things. I like to make up words.
