Kelly picked number 24. (Thanks Kelly!) Number 24 in the card book was...
"Slow-Cooked Pork and Beans" (6 quart pot)
~1 boneless whole pork loin roast (The card said 3 lbs. The one I used was slightly over 1.)
~1 onion, sliced
~3 (15oz) cans pork and beans
~1 1/2 c bbq sauce (I used Bull's Eye hickory smoke.)
~1/4 c brown sugar
~1 t garlic powder
Cut roast in half; place in crock pot.
In a large bowl, combine beans, bbq sauce, brown sugar, and garlic powder; pour over meat.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until meat is tender.
Remove roast; shred with 2 forks.
Return meat to crock pot; heat through.
I served it over egg noodles and sautéed spinach.
12 servings (According to the card. Our tiny roast was about 4.)
So...you know how bbq pork in a crock pot is delicious?
Yeah. That.
Nomnomnom.
