Since the last ham was so successful, I decided to do another one.
The original recipe is HERE.
~7 lb ham (I used a boneless one and it it was the smallest I could find.)
~1/4 c apple cider vinegar
~1/4 c honey
~1/4 c butter, melted
~1 t Worcestershire sauce
~1 T brown sugar
~1 t dried thyme
Add ham to crock pot.
Mix vinegar, honey, butter, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and thyme in a small bowl.
Mix vinegar, honey, butter, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and thyme in a small bowl.
Pour mixture evenly over ham.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
6 servings.
This was a good ham. We liked the one I crocked 2 weeks ago more, but I'm sure the fact that it was dripping in 3 kinds of sugars had something to do with that. This is a perfectly acceptable non-sugary ham.
